Inclusive Therapy
Culturally-affirming support for
BIPOC, bicultural, and immigrant communities
Honouring your voice
and agency
Many of us have spent a lifetime of holding everything together, without realizing how much it’s taken from us.
Your wellbeing matters. Here, you’re invited to reclaim your right to be seen and supported as you are. This space is intentionally co-created as a safe, culturally-responsive respite from the pressures of the world, to breathe, reflect, and come back to yourself.
Areas of Focus
-
Issues within our relationships can directly impact our emotional health, often feeling like we’re caught in the eye of the storm. This can leave us exhausted and confused as we try to make sense of challenging interactions.
In our sessions, we’ll unravel the dilemmas you face, digging into what lies beneath the tension and conflict. You’ll be supported in processing the rainy days that arise, with warmth and compassion, meeting you where you are.
To support you in navigating tough situations, you’ll be invited to learn evidence-based communication skills and emotional regulation practices, through a culturally-inclusive lens.
-
Our innate need for acceptance and connection is deeply rooted in our neurobiology. When we experience being excluded or neglected, we are vulnerable to insecurities, self-doubt, social anxiety, and lower self-worth.
I recognize how childhood experiences can shape our attachment tendencies, causing us to neglect our own needs for the sake of others, often at great cost. This can lead to patterns like people-pleasing, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and burnout.
I offer a compassionate presence to help navigate feelings of guilt, shame, and inadequacy. Together, we’ll engage in in-depth reflection to nurture your self-understanding and build greater confidence in yourself
-
Overwhelming childhood events often leave lasting imprints that carry into adulthood. They can shape our nervous system, leading us to respond with fight, flight, freeze, or fawn reactions to cues that resemble those early experiences.
In our sessions, we’ll gently explore how these experiences impact you today and build an integrative healing toolkit to help you find relief and stability in daily life.
As we move through recovery, we’ll explore your strengths and the deeper sense of self that lies beneath those early experiences, helping you feel more whole and emotionally free.
-
Life is full of changes, and each transition brings uncertainty that affects our sense of security and normalcy. Even when change is positive, we can struggle to cope and come to terms with the loss of what we’re leaving behind.
We’ll explore how these changes impact you on a deeper level. For significant losses, such as a breakup or the passing of a loved one, we’ll create a safe space to grieve and honour what these losses have meant. Together, we’ll rebuild and co-create coping strategies that resonate with you.
Throughout our journey, we’ll work toward finding new meaning and hope at a pace that honours your process.
-
When we face discrimination and abuse, our sense of safety and security is often deeply shaken. This disempowerment can lead to pain and isolation, teaching us to invalidate ourselves and carry guilt, shame, and unworthiness that were never ours to bear.
You are not alone. I offer a safe, affirming space where you can share your experiences, supported by someone who has lived experience.
Taking an anti-oppressive approach, we’ll work together to dismantle power imbalances and systemic factors. By integrating psychoeducation with strengths-based support, we’ll rebuild your sense of agency and capacity for healing.
-
Whether you’re a parent, teacher, healthcare worker, care worker, or first responder, these roles, while meaningful, often come with unique challenges. This includes overwhelming demands, limited resources, and the pressure to make an impact within challenging systems.
The regular stressors of working in a service-oriented role can take a toll on our well-being, contributing to chronic stress, anxiety, burnout, compassion fatigue, and even secondary trauma.
In our sessions, we’ll explore and process the internal experiences that arise in your work. With a holistic, trauma-informed approach, you’ll be supported in developing new coping strategies and a personalized toolkit to navigate stormy days with greater ease and stability.

In Solidarity with
Anti-Oppressive Care
Pacific Path is named in honour of my ancestors and those who seek to create a better life for their chosen community and future generations. I practice in solidarity with anti-racist, queer-affirming, trans-affirming, and neuro-affirming values that welcomes the inner knowing and gifts within each person.
I practice with a holistic, embodied, humanity-first lens that recognizes how wisdom and resilience live in the body, not only the mind. To honour what you have lived through and the direction you’d like to move towards, we deliberately slow down and attune deeply, to co-create safeness for personal and collective healing.

In the beginning, weekly or biweekly sessions help build a foundation of safety, trust and momentum. As things evolve, we can adjust the pacing that honours what feels right for you.
